Tone is a seasoned audio engineer and producer, who specializing in Hip hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Rap, and Latin music. Known for his passion and dedication, Tone brings out the best in every artist he collaborates with. His career is marked by numerous Billboard and RIAA charting hits, showcasing his technical prowess and keen understanding of various genres. Beyond technical expertise, including mixing and mastering, he excels as a vocal producer, guiding and refining performances to elevate songs to their fullest potential.

Jay is a musician, producer and engineer from Prince George's County, MD. He has experience in a diverse array of genres including Rock, Pop, Country as well as his specialties, Hip-Hop and R&B. Artists he has worked on songs for include Really Jaewon, Bobby Hagens, LB199X and many other talents in the DMV area.

Jake Vicious is an accomplished audio engineer and producer who is known for his Grammy award winning work with artists such as Tems, Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T, Ari Lennox, and many others. While working alongside the amazing team at Vault, Jake also helps run a Sync Licensing Company called Blaze Unlimited - which helps independant and signed artists get their music in TV and Film. Jake has had music placed in TV and Film for major companies such as Paramount, MTV, BET, Lionsgate, Nickelodeon, Disney, and many others.

Paul is a skilled engineer, producer, and artist from Maryland. He has a background in classical orchestra and many years of experience as an audio engineer. His work has been chosen for catalogs by major brands like Red Bull and Bellringer. He has also worked closely with many talented local artists, including Kelkoe, Phil the Great, Bob Almighty, Lex The Visionary, and numerous others.

Kap (short for Kapitol/WeNeedKapitol) is a music producer and vocal engineer with over two decades of experience shaping sound. He began making beats in 2002 and has spent nearly 20 years refining his ear through music production, bringing that same musical sensitivity into vocal engineering. After years of performing—in go-go and vocal performance in choir and stage productions—Kap approaches recording sessions with an artist-first perspective. He has produced and engineered for artists such as AmoGetItDone, Nomad the Native, Nouvél, Stunna Lorenzana and more. His vocal mixing services are competitively priced as he continues expanding this newer specialty, while maintaining the musical precision and professionalism developed over decades in production. 🎧✨

Cross is an impeccably talented engineer and drummer coming up in the DMV scene. Specializing in RnB and Hip Hop, he has worked with local artists like They, Cadet316, and Louie Bagz, and larger acts such as Brandy Haze and Juvenile.

L.B. is a highly skilled audio engineer based in Washington, D.C. With a deep understanding of sound design and music production, L.B. has honed his craft to deliver exceptional audio experiences. His expertise spans across various genres, ensuring that every project he undertakes meets the highest industry standards.
Logan combines his deep understanding of music theory and composition with technical precision, ensuring each project captures the essence and emotion of the artist’s work. Proficient in leading digital audio workstations and modern production tools, he continually embraces new technologies and techniques to push creative boundaries.

Daniel West is a recording and mixing engineer from Silver Spring, MD specializing in pop, hip-hop, R&B, and afro beats. Daniel specializes in Pro Tools editing, mixing, and working with live instruments. His credits include Mannywellz (Wale, Tems), Thamyind (Kanye West, Pusha T) and many others. Several of Daniel's credits have charted on Billboard, and featured in TV and film.

Diyanté Pileta is a passionate and self-taught audio engineer with a keen ear for detail and a drive for sonic excellence. With a love for music and a natural curiosity for sound, Diyanté has honed his skills through years of experimentation, learning, and hands-on experience. Driven by a desire to create immersive and captivating auditory experiences, Diyanté takes a meticulous approach to every project. Sean Minatti is a D.C. native music producer, musician, and creative visionary known for crafting polished, high-quality records with a timeless feel and strong commercial appeal. With roots in the go-go band scene as a drummer for BMB (Black Madness Band), Sean developed a deep understanding of rhythm, arrangement, and musicality that continues to shape his production today. Producing for a collective of DMV pioneer artist, her work has also been featured on major TV platforms including Tyler Perry productions, VH1, Paramount+ and more. B’SP is known for her musicality and feel-driven production style, bringing records to life with emotion, precision, and authenticity.


Magniff is a visual storyteller and creative director specializing in cinematic content, branded storytelling, and high-impact visuals. With a strong foundation in lighting, composition, and on-set execution, Magniff brings both creative vision and technical precision to every project. From concept to capture, Magniff delivers full-scale production support including camera, lighting, and creative direction ensuring each visual is intentional, dynamic, and built to connect. Where is the studio located?
5149 Frolich Lane, Hyattsville, MD 20781.
What are your hours?
Guests can book 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM (last start). Members can book from 6:00 AM through 5:30 AM the next day for overnight sessions.
How much does it cost to rent a space?
Rates vary by space and booking length. Studio A starts at $100/hr for guests, Studio B at $80/hr, the Writing Room at $65/hr, and the Cyc Wall at $135/hr. Longer bookings are cheaper per hour.
Do I need to be a member to book?
No — guests can book any space online without an account. Membership is invitation-only and includes 40% off, extended hours, and exclusive perks. To be considered, submit a membership application. Already a member? Log in to the member portal — most questions are answered there. For anything else, leave a message at info@thevault.studio or (301) 388-5006 and a team member will follow up.
Where can I smoke?
Smoking is only permitted in Studio B. It is not allowed in Studio A, the Writing Room, the Cyc Wall, or any common areas.
Is an engineer included?
Space rental is for the room only. Engineers, producers, photographers, and other staff are added separately when you book and are priced per service.
What is the minimum booking length?
1 hour minimum, 12 hours maximum per booking.
Can I book on short notice?
Yes. For starts within 6 hours, use the Studio Availability Request form and the studio will confirm as soon as possible.
How do I book an event?
Events are $210/hr with a 3-hour minimum (setup and breakdown included). Submit an event request through the website and the studio will send a quote.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Use your confirmation code on the booking management page, or contact the studio directly at info@thevault.studio.
