Students will explore the creative and technical aspects of music production by learning how beats are created using professional software and equipment. Participants will collaborate in teams to create and produce original musical compositions.
Students will gain an introduction to the world of video production by learning the fundamentals of camera operation, shot composition, storytelling, and video editing. Participants will work collaboratively to create and edit their own short video projects.
Students will learn the fundamentals of the recording studio environment, including songwriting, vocal recording techniques, microphone use, and basic studio etiquette. Each participant will have the opportunity to write, record, and leave with their own original song.
Students will participate in an engaging dance workshop focused on movement, performance, and choreography. Classes include warm-ups, technique training, and choreography instruction in both Hip-Hop and Contemporary dance styles.
